In another life, I was a product designer in tech. I seamlessly incorperated a company's ethos, values, and objectives into their digital products without sacrificing usability. While I enjoyed the challenge (and the salary), the fun dwindled over time and I became tired of the same objectives: increasing revenue, customer retention, upping market value, and business growth (yawn).

I wanted to create impact. Sentiment. Engagement with the very underthreads of life itself: passion, ambition, joy, despair, and character. So, I became a writer.
